BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Voting in Ada County has concluded for the November 2023 consolidated election, as 100 percent of precincts have reported voting. Below are the unofficial results of the ballot issues.
Lauren McLean was reelected as Boise mayor, winning with 33,926 votes. McLean had 7,384 more votes than Mike Masterson, who came in second place and had 26,542 votes.
Colin Nash, Kathy Corless, Janet Burke and Meredith Stead were elected to the Boise City Council.
For Eagle mayor, Jason Pierce received 3,549 votes, and Brad Pike received 3,142. Neither candidate reached 50% of the vote to win, and a runoff election will be held. The other two candidates, Stan Ridgeway and Marc Degl'Innocenti received 2,651 and 661 votes, respectively.
Mary May was elected to Eagle City Council with 4,518 votes.
James Page was elected to Garden City City Council with 1,296 votes.
Joe Stear will serve as Kuna mayor for another term after receiving 2,127 votes. Bobby Rossadillo received 1,243 votes, while Cristin Sandu received 336.
Robert E. Smison was reelected as Meridian mayor for another term, receiving 12,848 votes. Mike Hon received 5,602.
Elizabeth Strader, Doug Taylor and Anne Little Roberts were elected to the Meridian City Council.
Trevor A. Chadwick won reelection as the mayor of Star with 2,887 votes. Michele Miles received 510 votes.
Rebekah Luther won the vote for Kuna Rural Fire Commissioner in District 1. Brian Simpson won the vote for Eagle Fire Protection Commissioner in District 2.
Jared Moyle and Tim Murray won the vote for Star Fire Protection Commissioners in Districts 1 and 2.
Hillary S. Lowe, James Grant and Michael Thornton were elected into their seats on the Kuna Board of Trustees.
Lucas K. Baclayon, Dave Binetti and Rene Ozuna were elected to the West Ada Board of Trustees.
The Ada County Jail bond failed to pass with 68,799 votes in favor, only 65.84%, and 35,698 votes against. The bond needed 66.7% to pass.
