Nine post offices on Maui will be closing their retail lobbies at noon Monday, Christmas Eve, the U.S. Postal Service said Wednesday. Mail delivery to homes, businesses and P.O. boxes will not be affected. The post offices closing early are: Haiku, Kahului, Kihei, Lahaina, Lahaina downtown, Makawao, Paia, Pukalani and Wailuku.
